Covid Diary
Breath is dated June 2020. Words, lungs and a field of orange on the “spine”. A memorial to stupidity and tragedy of politicizing a virus and an expression of the sorrow and frustration I felt.
This work is my diary of thoughts and feelings about the Coronavirus 19 pandemic. My emotions during that time (and still) felt raw and untended. I felt a need to turn to clay to document as something I could do for myself. By opening the clay without a great deal of my intervention it had a voice in collaboration with mine.
Sculptures are available for purchase. Please contact me for availability and details!
